There are so many different stories people tell us about ADVAIR. Yet, there is usually one thing in common. ADVAIR has helped many of them manage their asthma better and have superior symptom control.* These people were also motivated enough to sit down and write to us.

Testimonial goes here.

"I've had a lifetime of experience with all kinds of asthma products. I was diagnosed when I was about 4. Growing up, the other kids called me Wheezer. Much to my parents' dismay, I tried to ignore my asthma. You don't want to have to think about breathing.

"Now I own a real estate company. It's a business where first impressions are key. So if I'm out showing properties or dealing with clients on the phone, it's embarrassing to start coughing and wheezing.

"When the doctor said I have something for you to try, I started using ADVAIR twice a day, every day. Now breathing feels natural. This year, I did something I haven't been able to do for years. I blew out the candles on my birthday cake. ADVAIR keeps me going."

"I had asthma as a baby, and for a while I even thought I grew out of it. I was playing sports, riding horses. Then when I was 18, the attacks started again. I felt like asthma took my world away. I had lots of trouble doing the things I loved to do.

"Now I'm a macaroni and cheese production-line operator. I've been working for the same company for 27 years. Sometimes I'd wheeze just walking in from the parking lot. I felt like one of those people you could never count on. Nobody wants to be thought of that way.

"I started taking ADVAIR and feel like I can breathe much easier now. But if I don't take it twice a day, every day, I'll find myself wheezing again. So I remember to take it and now I can do things like drive from Illinois to Texas without using a rescue inhaler once. And my husband and I can just hop on our motorcycles and take off. I don't have to miss the fun."

"I've had asthma for as long as I can remember. As a kid I couldn't do all the things I wanted to. In high school, I tried to be in marching band, but I would get out of breath. I just couldn't keep up.

"After graduation, I became a flight attendant. Even with all the medications I was on, I'd still get out of breath trying to keep up with my crew as we hustled through an airport.

"Now, instead of relying on a bunch of medications to manage my asthma, I just take ADVAIR every day. Once when I put my contacts in and once when I take them out. If I need it, I still use a rescue inhaler. But now one can last over two months.

"With ADVAIR, I can do things I wasn't able to do before, like keep pace with my crew. ADVAIR didn't change my life, it just made keeping up with it easier."

"My asthma isn't very severe. I didn't even know I had it. I just thought I was out of shape. Then about 15 years ago, I was in private practice and one of my clients, who was a pulmonary specialist, turned to me and said, 'You know, you're an asthmatic.' Didn't believe it. Turned out, I was wrong.

"For me, asthma was never scary—just uncomfortable and inconvenient. I was on medications and some inhalers. When I started teaching a few years ago, I noticed my asthma more. During lectures my breathing would sometimes be labored. And when I climbed the steps to my flat, I'd be wheezing when I got to the top.

"My doctor put me on ADVAIR. I take it religiously at 5 in the morning and 5 in the evening. Okay, sometimes it's 5:30. Now the stairs don't bother me, and students have stopped betting that I couldn't finish a lecture. And last summer, I spent a month in the Amazon."

"As a kid, I was athletic, but I was always confined by asthma. When I was just getting out of college, the idea of using medications other than on an as-needed basis became more acceptable.

"By the time I moved from Texas to New York, I was carrying around three different drugs, plus a spacer. And three times a day, I'd have to go through this regimen. It felt like I was always taking a puff of this or that. I'm an investment banker, so in a professional setting, it's kind of weird to pull out all these medications. I used to take my medications under my desk so people couldn't see me.

"ADVAIR makes it more convenient. I just take it once every morning and once every night. That's it. I don't have to deal with all those other medications during the day. In fact, most people don't know I have asthma."

*People ages 12 years and older taking ADVAIR 100/50 experienced improved lung function and reductions in both asthma symptoms and
fast-acting inhaler use, compared with people taking either fluticasone propionate 100 mcg or salmeterol 50 mcg (inhalation powders) alone. Your results may vary.

Important Information about ADVAIR DISKUS
Prescription ADVAIR won't replace fast-acting inhalers for sudden symptoms and should not be taken more than twice a day.
ADVAIR is for people who still have symptoms on another asthma controller, or who need two controllers. ADVAIR contains salmeterol. In patients with asthma, medicines like salmeterol may increase the chance of asthma-related death. So ADVAIR is not for people whose asthma is well controlled on another controller medicine.

Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of treating your asthma with ADVAIR. Do not use ADVAIR with long-acting beta2-agonists for any reason. If you are taking ADVAIR, see your doctor if your asthma does not improve or gets worse. Tell your doctor if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure. Some people may experience increased blood pressure, heart rate, or changes in heart rhythm. ADVAIR is for patients 4 years and older. For patients 4 to 11 years old, ADVAIR 100/50 is for those who have asthma symptoms while on an inhaled corticosteroid.
